Isolux Corsan, through its subsidiary Isolux Ingenieria, has energized a new 66 kV GIS electric substation in the city of Gurgaon, India. The new facility is part of a larger project to develop a total of three substations, commissioned by the State of Haryana, with a €14 M budget.

The new Gurgaon substation will contribute to Government´s plans to provide 24 hours power supply to cities, 16 hours to villages and 22 hours to district headquarters. It will have low maintenance costs, efficient and effective functioning and long life. The scope of works developed by Isolux Corsan include design, engineering, construction, testing and, now, energizing.

These projects include the expansion and improvement of 88 km of roads, three contracts for the upgrading and construction of new facilities in the Delhi Metro and two new lines and substation projects.
