SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- From VMworld 2010, Isilon®  (Nasdaq: ISLN) today announced its unified scale-out storage platform has achieved VMware Ready™ status. This designation indicates that Isilon's unified scale-out storage platform has passed a detailed evaluation and testing process managed by VMware and is now listed on the VMware Partner Product Catalog and Hardware Compatibility List.

Passing the extensive VMware-specified testing helps ensure that Isilon's unified scale-out storage platform makes best use of VMware technology and is ready for deployment in customer environments.
