ISG Takes Stage at IAOP Outsourcing World Summit® with Opening Keynote and RPA Workshops

As a major sponsor of the event, ISG will deliver a day-one keynote address, lead an academic research workshop, and present a client case study and mini-workshops on Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

The 2017 event will be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Tex., February 19 to 22. The summit will feature keynotes from industry leaders, more than 50 breakout sessions, receptions and other networking opportunities for attendees.

Lavieri will deliver a keynote presentation during the opening session on February 20, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. Joined by IAOP's Chief Advisor Jagdish Dalal, Lavieri will co-present the results of this year's State of the Industry Survey, sponsored by ISG, and discuss the latest trends and how to prepare for the "Next Big Thing" in global sourcing.

ISG also will showcase its thought leadership in the following sessions:

• ISG will sponsor the third annual ISG-IAOP Research Workshop, a one-day event on Sunday, February 19. During the workshop, 10 academic and industry researchers will present their research papers and interact with global practitioners. The winning paper will be announced by Paul Reynolds, partner and chief research officer of ISG, and presented by the author during the Summit.
• ISG will present a case study of a successful RPA project with one of its biggest clients as part of the "Robotics, AI & Technology: Revolutionizing Work and Changing the Face of Outsourcing" learning track on February 21, from 11:45 am to 12:30 p.m.
• ISG's Thomas Helfrich will conduct RPA mini-workshops on Tuesday, February 21, from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm, and Wednesday, February 22, from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. The workshops will look at key decision factors in RPA initiatives and typical processes utilized in client engagements, and will include ISG case studies of successful RPA launches.

In addition, ISG will host an invitation-only, buy-side breakfast on Tuesday, February 21, from 7:30 to 8:45 am, in conjunction with IAOP, and a private client dinner, also on Tuesday, February 21.
