ISC8 Appoints Alissa Valentina Knight as the Company's New Chief Technology Officer

COSTA MESA, Calif., May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ISC8 Inc. (OTCBB:ISCI.OB, "ISC8" or the "Company") announced today the appointment of Alissa Valentina Knight as the Company's new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Knight will be a member of ISC8's Executive Leadership team. Knight brings to this position more than 12 years of experience in cyber warfare; specifically in the areas of information assurance, incident response, forensics, and penetration testing, which will help shape technology direction and the professional services organization of ISC8.

In addition to the oversight of the Company's professional services and the security operations organizations, Knight will be instrumental in leading the execution of the cyber security technology strategy for related flagship product lines, partnerships, and external relationships. Additionally, Knight will be responsible for providing visible leadership for the Company in the cyber security community, anticipating and reacting to technology shifts to ensure the maintenance of ISC8's leadership in the competitive landscape, and leading operational risk management activities to enhance the value of ISC8 and its brand.

Knight is also a serial entrepreneur, having started and sold two previous companies in the cyber security industry to public companies in British Colombia and New Zealand.
