(ISC)2 Announces Winners for its Seventh Annual Americas Information Security Leadership Awards

CLEARWATER, Fla., Sept. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- (ISC)² today announced the winners for its seventh annual Americas Information Security Leadership Awards (Americas ISLA^®). The awards program celebrates the accomplishments of private and public sector industry leaders throughout the Americas, outside of U.S. federal government, who are inspiring change within the information security workforce. Recipients were announced today during the Americas ISLA luncheon at the seventh annual (ISC)² Security Congress.

Americas ISLA is part of (ISC)²'s Global Awards Program, which aims to recognize the achievements of outstanding industry professionals who have led a workforce improvement initiative, program or project. The program recognizes professionals who are leading initiatives that result in more effective and resilient cybersecurity strategies throughout Central, North and South America.

This year, a judging committee of nine members of the (ISC)² North American and Latin American Advisory Councils reviewed the nominations and selected the winners based upon specific criteria and eligibility requirements.
