Isabella Products Launches New Fable Pilot and Seeks Additional Massachusetts Classrooms to take part in its Pilot Programs
The Concord, MA company is looking for additional K-5 classrooms to pilot its new tablet
CONCORD, Mass., Aug. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Isabella Products, a consumer device and services company, has launched its most recent pilot with Quincy Community Action Program's (QCAP) Head Start program where kids ages 3, 4 and 5 will use Isabella's Fable for 5 weeks.
Fable is a safe, secure, browser-free Android tablet designed for children ages 3 to 10 that puts parents' and teachers' minds at ease. By connecting to Isabella Products' secure cloud-based store, VizitMe, Fable offers thousands of specially curated educational and fun apps, e-books, games, and video options.
The Head Start program received 12 Fables for the children to use at technology tables to enrich their classroom experience and prepare them for kindergarten. This latest pilot follows a successful pilot in Everett's Summer Enrichment Program as well as one last summer in Boston Public Schools. Isabella is looking to expand its pilot program further by including other classrooms across Massachusetts. Isabella uses these pilots to get feedback from teachers and students about the role Fable can play in digital learning initiatives.
"We are excited to roll out these pilot programs. Seeing the success Fable has had in classrooms in both Everett and Boston is encouraging," said Matthew Growney, founder and CEO of Isabella Products. "Fable enables teachers to set up classroom and student profiles that provide a safe way for interaction and exploration of world-class educational content. They also have the ability to create personalized lesson plans for individual students through VizitMe's vast content catalog."

"Head Start is an important part of the community, and the Fable pilot program helps us provide a unique educational technology experience for our children," said Keather Reichel, Educational Coordinator of QCAP. "We are thankful that Senator Keenan was able to facilitate our collaboration with Isabella Products."
Fable will be available to consumers in the fall of 2014. It is built to handle kids' wear and tear and inevitable juice spills, while still maintaining a sophisticated look and amazing user experience.
