Is Ted Cruz Defeated? Almost. Voters are Rejecting the Canadian-Born Cruz as Constitutionally Ineligible, says Law Professor Victor Williams

BETHESDA, Md., May 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- All across America, Ted Cruz is losing and he is losing badly.  Cruz's presidential campaign is in crisis.  Even pledged delegates are now renouncing him.

Ted Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada in 1970, and Cruz held his resulting Canadian citizenship until May 2014.  Cruz is not a "natural born [American] Citizen" as Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution requires.

In New Jersey, Professor Williams has already sued Cruz. The litigation is now at the Appellate Division of the New Jersey state courts. Williams seeks to remove Ted Cruz from the New Jersey June 7 ballot.   Williams plans to open a California front in the fight soon.
