Irvine Chamber of Commerce Free Weekly Webinar Provides Valuable Insight on Marketing for Small Businesses
IRVINE, Calif., March 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Irvine Micropreneur Program presented by the Irvine Chamber of Commerce (ICC) discusses and solves the needs of small businesses. The program hosted by Robert Coleman, President of the Pacific Venture Club, is designed to teach entrepreneurs and small business owners how to raise capital, market their products, develop new business opportunities, manage finances, plan for greater prosperity, and how to use social media to grow their business by participating in online presentations hosted by experts from many fields. The webinars are available for all to attend for free.

Since the Irvine Micropreneur Program launched in September of 2010, the weekly webinar series has steadily gained popularity and has seen an increase in viewership of almost 40% since its launch.

April 7 - National Policy and Innovation in the U.S. - a Forecast- Dr. Charles Wessner is the Director of Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship for the National Academy of Sciences in Washington DC. Dr. Wessner will draw from his decades of experience as a political insider, adviser, and international spokesperson to discuss the greater scene for business innovation and job creation within the United States.
April 14 - Social Entrepreneurship - An Overview - Social entrepreneurship is the practice of benefiting society and the world at large through the application of entrepreneurial principles. Small business owners and entrepreneurs from any market segment can benefit both socially and economically by understanding the opportunities and practices of social entrepreneurship. Presented by Host Robert Coleman.
April 21 - Website Design, Good and Bad - Learn what makes a website an effective business communication tool from Steve Huang, Regional Director of CSC Digital Graphics in Irvine.
April 28 - Green industry Opportunities for Small Business - William Coleman, a Professor of Environmental Studies at the University of California Berkeley will discuss the trends in both the private and public sectors.
