Iris Hernandez MSN, VHA-CM is recognized by Continental Who's Who
EDGEWOOD, Md., Jan. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Who's Who recognizes Iris Hernandez, MSN, VHA-CM, as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her contributions to the field of Nursing.
As PI Nurse Program Manager at the VA Medical Center in Baltimore, M.D., Hernandez utilizes her impressive expertise in both geriatric nursing and nursing administration and management. Her career at the VA Medical Center spans 28 years and she is also a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel.

The hospital offers several unique departments, including an Epilepsy research center, a Geriatric research and education center, a Mental Illness research institute and a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Center of Excellence.
Hernandez holds a Master of Nursing Science with a concentration in Nursing Administration and Education from the University of Puerto Rico. In addition to her academic credentials, she is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Maryland Nurses Association, the National Association of Hispanic Nurses and the National Association of Professional Women.
When not working, Hernandez is a member of the Hispanic Parish Council at St. Francis DeSales Church. She also enjoys crocheting and reading.
