IPv6 Security Boot Camp Readies Organizations for Attacks
Training prepares employees for next generation Internet Protocol challenges
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Command Information, the premier provider of cyber security solutions, has unveiled a new line of defense against IT security challenges. Through comprehensive, hands-on courses, government and commercial IT architects, engineers and administrators will be prepared to meet the unique security challenges of IPv6.
"We all read the news that ICAN gave out the last available blocks of IPv4 addresses last week. Now we need to make sure that security keeps pace with IPv6 adoption. To do this, we are launching IPv6 Security Boot Camps to ensure that organizations have the cutting-edge knowledge and tools they need to protect their networks," said Command Information EVP for Cyber Security Lisa Donnan.
Command Information instructors will offer insight into the most up-to-date issues, challenges and regulations. IPv6 Security Boot Camps will provide an IPv6 security overview and primer to address such issues as routing protocols, MPLS and core engineering, IPv4-IPv6 integration and transition, and advanced topics such as QoS, multicast, mobile IPv6 and more. All classes will include detailed examination of threats, vulnerabilities and solutions for IPv6 security issues.
