LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- IPRO Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Clare Bradley, MD, MPH has been appointed to The PCPI Foundation Board of Directors. PCPI engages physicians, clinicians and key stakeholders to improve care through integrated performance measurement and clinically rich data to address shared health care quality challenges.
One of four new Board Members, Dr. Bradley will serve for three years and bring valuable skills, experience and perspective vital to further advance The PCPI's mission of improving patient health and outcomes, and health care service quality. Each PCPI board member represents an important stakeholder in health care outcomes, and fills a dedicated seat on the board. This helps ensure input from a wide range of patient, medical specialty, administrative, government, business and civic interests. Representing the American Health Quality Association, Dr. Bradley fills a PCPI board seat reserved for quality improvement.
An internal medicine specialist, Dr. Bradley provides technical assistance to providers for improving quality and succeeding with value-based payment programs. Dr. Bradley is co-chair of the Medical Society of the State of New York's quality improvement and patient safety committee, and was previously health commissioner of Suffolk County, New York.
Also just announced, IPRO Senior Director Matthew Roberts, DrPH has been invited by the National Quality Forum (NQF) to participate in the work of the National Quality Partners™ (NQP™) beginning in December 2018. He will represent IPRO on the NQP™ Social Determinants of Health Data Integration Action Team.
NQP™ is central to NQF's mission of leading collaboration to improve health and healthcare quality. NQP™ provides an important mechanism for NQF members together to advance quality on a national scale around mutual topics of interest. The NQP™ Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Data Integration Action Team will bring together stakeholders to develop and share priorities, goals, and promising practices to accelerate the integration of SDOH data into clinical practice.
Prior to coming to IPRO, where he manages the Data and Software Solutions teams, Dr. Roberts served as the Project Manager for the Chicago Department of Public Health beginning in December 2013. In this role, he oversaw the application of computer science and technology to improve public health operations. Before joining CDPH he worked at the Illinois Department of Public Health for eight years in several capacities, including public health emergency preparedness, Section Chief for Communicable Disease Control, and Division Chief of Long Term Care Quality Assurance.
