NEW YORK, April 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ipreo, a leading global provider of market intelligence and productivity software to both capital markets and corporate investor relations professionals, announced that it has hired Ben Sherwin as General Counsel.
Sherwin comes to Ipreo from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where, most recently, he ran the Transaction Advisory Group in Equity Capital Markets. Previously, he spent over five years as a senior counsel for ECM, first at Merrill Lynch and then at the combined firm, also serving on various industry committees. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Sherwin was a corporate lawyer at the firm Sidley Austin LLP, where he represented investment banks and companies in a wide variety of equity and debt transactions. He joins Ipreo as a member of the Executive Committee.
