IPC The Hospitalist Company Acquires Two Practice Groups
Expands Presence in Nevada and Tennessee Markets
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: IPCM), a leading national hospitalist physician group practice company, announced today that it has acquired LH Self Medical Services, PC, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the hospitalist operations of Mountain Empire Medical & Surgical Associates, PLLC, (MEMSA) in Elizabethton, Tennessee. The LH Self and MEMSA practices are both in markets where IPC has an established presence. On a combined basis, the two groups have an annualized volume of approximately 18,000 patient encounters.
