HOUSTON, April 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ION Geophysical Corporation (NYSE: IO) announced today that it will release first quarter 2012 financial results on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 after the market closes.  In conjunction with the release, ION has scheduled a conference call, which will be broadcast live over the Internet, for Thursday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (10:00 a.m. Central).
