INVNT Expands Creative Bench, Appoints Sue Painter as Art Director
NEW YORK, Aug. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- INVNT, a global live brand storytelling agency, continues to strengthen its creative offering with the addition of Sue Painter as Art Director. As brands increasingly shift towards more motion-oriented identities and campaigns, frequently opting for animation over static logos and images, Sue's extensive experience in video and motion – in addition to her deep experience in all forms of visual communication – will help the agency continue to produce the kind of work that keeps clients returning and the industry paying keen attention to what INVNT does next. Based out of INVNT's New York City headquarters, Sue will not only lead the agency's expanding digital design capabilities, but also serve as a mentor to the steadily growing art department.
Before joining INVNT, Sue worked as a freelance Art Director, Designer, and Motion Graphics Animator. As a freelance partner, Sue partnered with INVNT on major accounts including Genentech, L'Oréal, Mary Kay, Merck, Microsoft, and PepsiCo.
"Sue is one of the most well-respected art and design resources in the live event business. She's led entire art departments, worked across sectors and geographies, and before INVNT even existed, held full time positions at the best-regarded firms in our space. Now, she joins the agency that is poised to seize a market-leading position globally," said Paul Blurton, Chief Creative Officer at INVNT. "For us, Sue has been a trusted and regularly sought-after collaborator for many years, and we already consider her a part of the INVNT tribe. We're thrilled to make it permanent and start to build additional capabilities around her many talents."
INVNT announced record growth earlier this year, and Sue's onboarding, considering her caliber and success as a freelance specialist, is further indicative of the energy and momentum that is currently surrounding INVNT.
"Joining INVNT, at this time, in this role, just felt like the right fit. I've worked with many of these clients in the past, as well as many of the employees who have left other agencies and found a kindred spirit and new home at INVNT," said Sue Painter. "When I started freelancing at INVNT, I quickly realized the quality and tenacity of this team is unmatched. It's a great opportunity that will push me further and expose me to more ideas and experiences than I could have had alone."
