Invizeon Partners with Augusta Systems to Advance Remote Monitoring Solutions
Invizeon to resell Augusta Systems EdgeFrontier middleware
MORGANTOWN, W.Va., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Augusta Systems, Inc., a provider of technologies that power the intelligent convergence of devices, systems and networks, and Invizeon Corporation, a provider of communications solutions, have partnered to advance remote monitoring in emerging markets.
Through the partnership, Invizeon will resell Augusta Systems EdgeFrontier, a complete middleware platform for building and managing complex monitoring, control and automation solutions. EdgeFrontier provides a complementary component to Invizeon's Sphere>Points and Sphere>Mobile carrier-class critical communications products, enabling solutions for public safety, infrastructure management and other applications.
"EdgeFrontier's data integration and policy management capabilities are an ideal pairing with Invizeon's Sphere>Points platform, designed to meet remote monitoring needs for public sector and enterprise clients," said Patrick Esposito, president and chief executive officer of Augusta Systems. "We look forward to expanding the penetration of our EdgeFrontier middleware platform into underserved, emerging markets through this partnership with Invizeon."
Sphere>Points and Sphere>Mobile are carrier-class critical communications platforms designed to provide interoperable communications across all levels of government and non-government organizations. With a standards-based and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach, these products are ideal platforms to manage the exchange of communications and information in critical and time-sensitive situations, as well as in day-to-day activities.
Augusta Systems EdgeFrontier provides Invizeon and its clients with a platform for integration and normalization of data, events and control functions from diverse devices, systems and networks. EdgeFrontier also enables remote, localized event or policy-based processing of data and events, which pushes intelligence beyond the data center, throughout the network infrastructure. These capabilities allow for enhanced information management for Invizeon and its clients.
"In operational settings, and especially emergency situations, government officials and business managers need rapid, reliable distribution of real-time information to management personnel and key stakeholders," said David Skilling, vice president of client services for Invizeon. "Sphere>Points and Sphere>Mobile, coupled with the EdgeFrontier products, allow for more efficient and effective data management and communication. The partnership between Invizeon and Augusta Systems will result in improved remote monitoring solutions for our clients."
