Investopedia Announces David Siegel as CEO
Seeking Alpha Exec to Drive Next Phase of Growth for Top Financial Publisher
NEW YORK, March 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Investopedia, the web's premier source of trusted investment content, today announced the appointment of David Siegel to chief executive officer. Mr. Siegel brings with him more than 18 years of experience building and growing digital media and content-rich product experiences at vertical publishers Seeking Alpha and Everyday Health, as well as marquee consumer brands 1-800 Flowers.com and Duane Reade.

Mr. Siegel most recently served as president of Seeking Alpha, where he oversaw areas such as monetization and traffic acquisition for the financial publishing and research site, growing ad sales significantly while also expanding its model to capture meaningful subscription revenue. Prior to this, Mr. Siegel ran Everyday Health's fastest-growing division, where he developed a comprehensive product suite of digital solutions for the health industry, yielding $15 million in revenue in less than two years. Mr. Siegel also spent time overseeing strategy and corporate development at 1-800 Flowers.com and Duane Reade's digital division.
