Investment Funds Partner Joins Latham's Expanding Houston Office
Ivana K. Rouse advises a diverse array of private funds on investment, fundraising, and operational matters
HOUSTON, Feb. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Latham & Watkins LLP1 is pleased to announce that Ivana K. Rouse has joined the firm's Houston office as a partner in the Corporate Department and member of the Investment Funds Practice. Rouse's practice covers a broad range of private funds, including private equity-style energy, credit and mid-market funds, cryptocurrency funds and hedge funds.

Rouse's practice primarily focuses on advising fund sponsors on both their fundraising activities and internal operational matters. She has also worked on a number of special situations funds, open-ended funds, hybrid hedge/private equity funds, and has a particular niche with drug royalty funds.

Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Rouse was a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Houston. She received her BA and BBA degrees from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 2003, and her JD degree from SMU in 2006.
