Mercury Solar Systems to Generate $5 Million in Annual Electricity Savings and SREC Sales For Newly Installed Commercial Customers in 2011
MAYS LANDING, N.J., Aug. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercury Solar Systems, one of the top solar integrators on the East Coast, today announced that it has completed dozens of commercial solar energy projects in New Jersey through the first half of the year ranging from 40kW to 885kW. Together, these systems will produce approximately $5 million in annual electricity savings and SREC sales for local businesses in New Jersey.

Select New Jersey commercial projects include:
- Croda Inc.: A 1,000 solar panels were installed at the North American corporate offices of Croda International Plc in Edison, NJ totaling 305kW.
- Leknarf Associates: A 417kW rooftop system consisting of 1,820 solar panels was installed at its facility in West Caldwell, NJ.
- Manncraft Corporation: In conjunction with project owner National Performance Packaging Holdings, this leading northeastern custom packaging solutions provider installed solar systems on two of its three New Jersey facilities. A 237kW system was installed at its corporate offices in Newark and a 546kW system was installed at a sheet plant in Trenton.
- Moreng Metal Products, Inc.: This leading metal fabrication company based in Totowa, NJ invested in a 407kW system consisting of over 1,300 solar panels.
- Strato Inc.: The railroad product manufacturer invested in a 600kW system consisting of 2,400 panels at its corporate headquarters in Piscataway, NJ.
- World Class Flowers: A 351kW solar truckport system was installed at the Egg Harbor City headquarters of this wholesale flower company. This is the second solar system Mercury Solar Systems installed for World Class Flowers. A 178kW rooftop system was installed in December 2009.
