The Dutch Public Prosecutor's Office and the Fiscal Information and Investigation Service (FIOD) are conducting a criminal investigation against Ballast Nedam as a suspect related to payments to foreign agents in the period of 1996 - 2004.

Ballast Nedam has brought this matter to the attention of the Public Prosecutor's Office in January 2011.

As stated in the press release of 21 January 2011 Ballast Nedam is fully cooperating with the investigation and will await the results of the investigation.
