PITTSBURGH, March 5, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to come up with a multi tool that would appeal to metal workers to help save employers money and manpower," said an inventor from Portland, Ore. "My idea speeds up production without sacrificing quality."
She created a prototype for the SPEED ANGLE to serve as a handy kit for completing metal work. The item can be welded against, clamped to and measured by. It also provides a handy straight edge and square. The configuration allows for measurements down to 16ths and 32nds of an inch. The set is designed for metal work but usable in any application where 90- or 45-degree angles need to be held for attachments to be set in place.
It reduces labor time during projects. The construction keeps material from warping due to excessive heat. The tool speeds up the process of welding frames exponentially with little effort without sacrificing the quality of the end product. Additionally, it works well for wood applications as well. It is offered in stainless steel, aluminum, polypropylene and copper for cross material use and specific need application.
The original design was submitted to the Portland sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
