PITTSBURGH, Feb. 12, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- "I live in Chicago, which is a windy city. After the garbage is picked up, the empty cans blow all over the street," said an inventor from Chicago, Ill. "When I get home from work, I have to search for them. I came up with this idea to keep trash containers tethered for convenience."
He created a prototype for SECURE-A-BIN to prevent empty trash cans from being blown away by strong gusts of wind. The unit eliminates the need to spend time searching for missing trash cans after the garbage is collected. It also protects garbage cans and lids against damages. The accessory keeps empty trash cans out of the road so that they do not become hazards to motorists. Additionally, the invention stops cans from being knocked over and spilling trash onto the street. This also helps to prevent rodent infestations.
