PITTSBURGH, May 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The pressure on feet and lower legs caused by bedding like sheets and blankets can be a source of great discomfort for anyone with foot problems. Fortunately, two inventors from Seattle, Wash., have conceived of a way to solve that problem.
They developed COMFORT FOOT WEDGE to relieve undo pressure on the feet, ankles and legs while sleeping. As such, it reduces the chances of foot and lower leg pain and re-injury, providing enhanced comfort and peace of mind. This lightweight, compact and portable device is also easy to install and use and remains firmly in place. Other reasons for its appeal are convenience, effectiveness and an affordable price. In addition, its simple design minimizes production costs.
The inventors' personal experience inspired the idea. "I have plantar fasciitis and needed to find a way to reduce the pressure caused by sheets and blankets lying over my feet and legs," one of them said. "I tried using pillows, spacers and other devices with metal parts that did not stay in place or help before I thought of this alternative."
The original design was submitted to the Seattle sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
