PITTSBURGH, April 28, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Decatur, Tenn., wanted to fulfill the need for a useful attachment for zero turn mowers.
The patent-pending STEER STRAIGHT provides a means of locking the front wheels (caster wheels) in the straight-ahead position when mowing horizontally on a sloping terrain or incline such as hill or drainage ditch along driveway or road. It counteracts the normal tendency of the front wheels drifting downgrade toward the bottom of the hill when mowing around the hill. It is efficient, safe and convenient. Additionally, it is easy to use, operate and control. The STEER STRAIGHT could be produced in versions that could be adapted for use on the most common makes and models of zero turn lawn mowers or it could be utilized by zero turn manufactures as standard or optional equipment.
"I got tired of my lawn mower going down the slope in my yard and running into the road or my fence," said the inventor.
The original design was submitted to the Knoxville office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
