PITTSBURGH, Feb. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Two inventors from Reading, Pa., were concerned about the inconvenience of standing in long checkout lines at retail stores. So they came up with a way to help cashiers save time and shorten those lines.
They developed E Z UNWRAP to provide an easy way to unwrap rolls of coins. In fact, this invention automates the current manual system of accessing wrapped coin rolls, eliminating the need for cashiers to crack open or tear apart the wrappers. As such, it enables retailers to improve productivity and customer service. Efficient and easy to operate, it requires minimal space near a cash register. In addition, this convenient addition for retailers is also effective and affordably priced.
The inventors' personal observation inspired the idea. "When I realized how much time was wasted opening prewrapped rolls of coins by cutting the wrappers or slamming them on a counter," one of them said, "I came up with a faster and more convenient way to access the coins."
The original design was submitted to the Lancaster sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
