PITTSBURGH, April 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- While pickup trucks provide an ideal method of hauling cargo of various shapes, weights and sizes, the cab surface often gets damaged by heavy oversized construction materials during transit. Luckily, an inventor from Las Vegas, Nev., has found a way to solve this problem.
He developed a prototype for CAB COVER to protect pickup truck cab surfaces against damage from heavy, awkward cargo. As such, it provides a cushioned layer between the load and the cab. Since it extends the life of the vehicle, it saves the owner the expense of body shop repairs to the paint surface. Thus, it affords peace of mind for concerned truck owners. This durable cover is also easy to apply and remove. In addition, it is convenient, practical and affordably priced.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I was hauling a long tube in a pick-up truck and needed something to act as a buffer between the cargo and the surface of the cab so it wouldn't get scratched or dented," he said.
The original design was submitted to the Las Vegas sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
