PITTSBURGH, Feb. 19, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- While batting practice is a top priority and a considerable time commitment for baseball and softball players, they still struggle to perfect their swing using conventional bats. Fortunately, an inventor from Winston-Salem, N.C., has come up with a more effective way to learn to hit the ball consistently.
He developed a prototype for patent pending SHADOW SWING PRACTICE BAT to provide immediate feedback regarding a batter's swing mechanics. As such, it helps the player develop the correct swing form. Since it teaches proper hitting techniques, it improves the batter's chances of consistently hitting the ball. In other words, it raises the skill level and, in turn, builds confidence for better game performance. In addition, it is convenient, effective, easy to use and affordably priced.
The inventor's personal observation inspired the idea. "I saw kids unable to re-create a successful swing each time at bat," he said. "This bat gives the feedback necessary for them to achieve that."
