PITTSBURGH, Oct. 10, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create a way to remotely monitor power system assets to identify any devices that are demonstrating signs of eventual failure," said an inventor, from Reston, NB, Canada, "so I invented the HIGH VISION. My design could help to prevent transformer fires and high voltage arc overs that could damage equipment and premises locations."
The patent-pending invention provides a smart power transformer fault monitoring device for electrical utility and related industrial and commercial service applications. In doing so, it would detect the sound and mechanical vibration of the transformer under normal and fault conditions. As a result, it helps detect the early signs of transformer faults. The invention features an effective design that is easy to employ so it is ideal for electrical utility companies. Additionally, a prototype model is available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Toronto sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
