PITTSBURGH, Aug. 16, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "I thought there should be a simple device to provide accurate depth notifications for rising or final elevated flood waters," said an inventor, from Fremont, N.C., "so I invented THE FLOOD MARKER. My design could increase safety by offering a warning for people not to advance in the direction of the water-affected area."
The patent-pending invention provides an effective device for measuring flood water levels. In doing so, it would be automatically activated by rising flood waters. As a result, it increases accuracy, and it provides added safety. The invention features a lightweight design that is easy to install and use so it is ideal for those in areas prone to common flooding situations. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Richmond sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
