PITTSBURGH, March 24, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Mt. Pleasant Mills, Pa., has developed the GRASS GRUBBER, using Ever Sharp technology. It features reinforced tips with a sharp cutting edge, which would last longer than a conventional blade. A prototype is available.
"I developed my idea out of frustration due to poor mower blade performance. I created a blade with a stronger, beefier edge to prevent wear at the very end," said the inventor. The patent-pending GRASS GRUBBER allows a lawn mower blade to stay sharpened for an extended period of time. In turn, this reduces the need to sharpen or replace the blade as often as conventional blades. Using this redesigned blade may prevent a mower from leaving a strip of uncut grass between the mower blades. In addition, it is less likely to be damaged when impacted by an obstruction. This blade effectively and precisely cuts grass, thus improving the appearance of a lawn and landscape. Finally, this blade is easy to attach and use, and is durable for years of effective use.
