PITTSBURGH, Feb. 25, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Ferdinand, Ind., has developed the patent pending HEALTHY SKIN UNDERBELLY SKIRT, a personal care item designed to be positioned under the breasts or in the crease between skin folds to prevent skin-on-skin touching.
"My mother was always getting rashes under her stomach, so I cut up an old t-shirt to place in this area," said the inventor. "The problem was that as soon as my mother moved, the piece of fabric would move too. Sometimes, it would even fall all the way to the floor while walking. So, I designed this product to ALWAYS stay in place and yet remain comfortable."
The HEALTHY SKIN UNDERBELLY SKIRT provides a soft barrier between skin folds and under the breasts. This prevents skin-on-skin contact, while also absorbing perspiration. In turn, this may prevent rashes, chaffing, bacteria and infections from occurring. This item may remain securely in place, thus providing wearers with added comfort throughout the day. Ultimately, this personal care item increases hygiene amongst the general population, but especially those who are overweight or obese.
