PITTSBURGH, Oct. 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create an improved way for a plumber or other worker to use polytetrafluoroethylene sealing tape when working in tight spaces," said an inventor, from Columbia, Tenn., "so I invented the PLUMBER ASSISTANT HELPER. My design would seal connection threads without the hassle of unraveling rolled tape products."

The invention provides an improved way to dispense and use polytetrafluoroethylene sealing tape. In doing so, it eliminates the need to struggle with a traditional roll. As a result, it saves time and effort and it ensures that plumbing pipe thread sealing can be performed in tight installation configurations. The invention features a practical design that is easy to use so it is ideal for plumbers, contractors, etc. Additionally, it is producible in design variations and a prototype model is available upon request.
