PITTSBURGH, July 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- "We wanted to create this invention to help the elderly and other mobility limited people shop on their own while staying safe and comfortable," said two inventors from Oakland, Calif. "So, we invented the E & R SMART GROCERY CART."
The invention fulfills the need for a redesigned shopping cart that would make it easier to load and unload the contents of a cart, while also employing a unique braking system for added safety and convenience. The design is novel, convenient, and easy to operate. It could prevent damage to other cars in a parking lot, and prevent a cart from rolling away from the user, and could also prevent muscle strain and injury to individuals trying to lift heavy items from within shopping carts. Additionally, it would especially be useful to the elderly, pregnant women, and other individuals with physical limitations.
The inventors describe the unique qualities of their idea. "This shopping cart would greatly improve the convenience and safety of a shopping cart."
The original design was submitted to the San Francisco sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
