The invention provides an improved holder for toilet paper or paper towel rolls. In doing so, it offers a quick and easy way to change/replace the roll. As a result, it saves time and effort and it eliminates the need to struggle with a spring-type spindle. The invention features a practical design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for households and commercial bathrooms. Additionally, it is producible in design variations and a prototype is available.
