The invention provides an improved design for a coffee filter. In doing so, it ensures that the coffee filter remains firmly in place inside a filter basket. As a result, it prevents the filter from folding over as hot water passes through the filter basket and it prevents coffee grounds from entering the coffee pot. The invention features a simple design that is easy to use so it is ideal for households, restaurants, coffee shops, cafeterias, etc. Additionally, it is producible in design variations.
