InventHelp Inventor Develops Device to Secure a Sliding Glass Door/Window (FED-2337)

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 23, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create an improved security device that can be used to secure a sliding patio glass door or a sliding glass window," said an inventor, from Port Orchard, Wash., "so I invented the SLIDING DOOR LOCK. My design can also provide enhanced contact of weather stripping between a pet dog door insert and the sliding glass door."

The invention provides an effective way to secure a sliding glass door/window. In doing so, it offers an improved alternative to using a piece of wood. As a result, it enhances safety and security and it eliminates the need to permanently install an additional locking device. The invention features an adjustable design that is easy to attach and use so it is ideal for households and businesses. Additionally, a prototype is available.
