PITTSBURGH, July 12, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "I work in construction and was frustrated with always being splattered by concrete during concrete pours. The pain and irritation to my skin was unbearable," said an inventor, from Gambrills, Md., "so I invented the CHUTE BUDDY. My design prevents concrete from splattering on the body during concrete pours. It is also designed to keep splattering intact and away from vehicles, equipment, obstructions, and customer's property, reducing the amount of clean-up that is needed."
The patent-pending invention provides a protective accessory for use with a concrete truck chute. In doing so, it prevents concrete from splattering when being poured down the truck's chute. As a result, it protects construction and concrete workers against burns, irritation and other problems caused by concrete splatters to the face and body. It also avoids messes on houses, vehicles, equipment, etc. The invention features a durable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for general contractors, builders, and aggregate concrete suppliers. Additionally, a prototype model is available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Baltimore sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
