PITTSBURGH, Sept. 18, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "Since a number of young children die each year from heatstroke due to being left in a vehicle, I wanted to create an improved way to notify the driver to remove a child from the backseat when parking," said an inventor, from Modesto, Calif., "so I invented the JAZ BABY SAVER. My design helps prevent discomfort, hyperthermia, and possible death associated with being left behind in a parked car."
The patent-pending invention provides an effective way to alert a parent or grandparent if a child or pet is accidentally left behind within a parked vehicle. In doing so, it increases safety which could help avoid hot car deaths, and it provides added peace of mind. The invention would provide an audio and visual reminder alert to check the back seat in support of the Hot Cars Act. It would be accessible for people with older model cars, as well as be integrated with the manufacturing of new cars. Also, it features a portable and automatic design that is easy to use so it is ideal for vehicle owners with children.
The original design was submitted to the Fresno sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
