Introducing Stream: Random Stuff That People Anonymously Share From The Web
NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Stream is a new website where you can see what other people are sharing from the web in real time as a beautiful, cascading feed of visual links.
It's a new type of social network that emphasizes content over people, removing all sense of identity. There are no friends, no followers, no avatars– just a never-ending collection of unique content shared from across the web.
Every image in Stream is a link back to the site that it was shared from. You can discover all sorts of interesting content ranging from news to recipes to memes; whatever the community thinks is worth sharing.
"Imagine removing all the personal content from social networks: no wedding photos, no status updates, no long rants. What you're left with is a bunch of awesome content," says founder Paul Canetti, who designed Stream and previously worked at Apple. "Stream allows you to discover all sorts of things being shared from all sorts of people, and likewise anything you post can be viewed instantly by anyone in the world."
Stream was developed by former Apple and Adobe designers and engineers and can be viewed at http://streamapp.co. Stream is also available as a free app for iOS where users can add new content to Stream and save content to their own personal Stream.
