DES MOINES, Iowa, April 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Intoxalock, a leading source of innovative alcohol monitoring technology, has recently expanded its service and installation network, maintaining its presence as the largest ignition interlock supplier in the U.S. with more locations than any other provider.
Certified in 39 states, Intoxalock partners with local shops that specialize in automotive electrical repair and aftermarket stereos and accessories. By creating these local partnerships, Intoxalock is able to schedule installations of ignition interlock devices (IIDs) for its customers at a convenient location, many times, the next day.
"At Intoxalock, we are constantly striving to be the easiest ignition interlock company for customers. An important part of that goal is maintaining a convenient and helpful service center network nationwide," explained Kerry Keller, Intoxalock Vice President of Compliance and Field Ops.
"Proximity to the consumer is only part of the equation. Professional appearance, cleanliness and access to experienced electrical technicians are also key to ensuring superior customer experience. It is our responsibility to support IID customers throughout their allotted time with our device and we try to make it as easy as possible," he continued.
Intoxalock devices are primarily used by people legally required to install an IID because of a drunk-driving violation. However, more individuals and businesses are starting to voluntarily install car breathalyzer devices as a prevention method.
To use an Intoxalock ignition interlock device, a driver simply pushes a button, submits their breath sample and waits for the LED screen to display passed or failed. If the driver passes, they can start the car and head to their destination. If a driver doesn't pass, they will be unable to start the car until a passing breath sample is provided.
