Inteva Products Sees Network Congestion Drop Average of 47% Across its Locations with Exinda

BOSTON, Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Exinda, a global provider of next-generation WAN optimization and application assurance solutions, announced today that Inteva Products (Inteva), which manufactures products for original equipment vehicle manufacturers in the automotive, commercial and defense industries, has selected Exinda to assure the performance of its critical applications at more than 20 sites around the world. With Exinda's solutions in place, Inteva's network congestion has dropped an average of 47 percent across its sites.

Inteva began using Exinda solutions to provide visibility into network traffic after the company completed an acquisition. The goal was to prioritize mission-critical application traffic in its data center, headquarters and remote sites. Exinda's policy-based WAN optimization capabilities guarantee network resources for applications critical to Inteva's business, such as its supply chain management application, while mitigating the impact of non-strategic traffic, such as recreational websites.

After seeing positive results at its initial locations, Inteva has rolled out Exinda solutions across a total of 23 sites, with additional implementations planned for its remaining locations.
