Intersections Inc. Sells Captira Analytical, LLC
CHANTILLY, Va., Feb. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Intersections Inc. (NASDAQ: INTX), a leading provider of identity risk management and privacy protection services for consumers, today announced that it sold the membership interest of its wholly-owned subsidiary Captira Analytical, LLC effective January 31, 2017. Captira Analytical provides automated service solutions to the bail bonds industry.
"We divested our ownership in Captira in connection with our strategy to focus on identity and privacy protection services through our Identity Guard®, Privacy Now™ with Watson™ and other brands," said Johan Roets, Intersections' Chief Executive officer. "We are pleased that under new ownership, Captira will continue to provide its service solutions to existing and new customers."
The sale of Captira will mark the conclusion of Intersections' operations in its Bail Bonds Industry Solutions reporting segment, the results of which have not had a significant impact on the Company's consolidated financial results.
