Interop London to Headline London Technology Week 2015

UBM's Interop London (http://www.interop.co.uk) has been named as the flagship event of London Technology Week in June 2015.
London Technology Week was launched in 2014 by UBM Live in partnership with London & Partners and with the support of founding partners Tech London Advocates and ExCeL London. This brand new proposition for the capital brought together 40,000 tech specialists and enthusiasts at more than 200 events.

Interop events take place around the world creating a forum for the world's largest celebration of IT professionals. Interop Las Vegas is the flagship US event with annual international events in India, Japan and most recently, the UK. The London edition, will welcome 8,000 IT and tech professionals to ExCeL during London Technology Week from a range of industries including telecoms, financial services, public sector, travel, hospitality, utilities, pharmaceuticals and retail. They will experience global trends and vendor solutions in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, mobility, cyber security, data-defined business intelligence and software applications via a dynamic range of demonstrations, education and hands-on tech.
Interactive features will include the Tech Talent Zone, Future of Tech programme, a startup showcase and the Interop Lab, a combination of which will provide opportunities for attendees to take part in live pitching, mentoring, training sessions, workshops and hack days.

Interop London will offer a world-class education programme alongside hundreds of solution providers demonstrating how emerging technologies and innovation are reshaping businesses from startups to enterprise organisations.

The Black Hat Zone at Interop London will leverage Black Hat and Interop's longstanding relationships with the IT, tech and security communities, featuring industry leading companies showcasing products and services centred around enterprise, IT and mobile security. In addition, the Black Hat Zone will be in close proximity to IFSEC International within ExCeL, making it a central destination for IT and security professionals.
These developments have gone hand in hand with extensive customer insight work for which UBM has consulted with hundreds of its customers as well as industry and partner stakeholders. The decision has been taken to replace Internet World with Interop, alongside London Technology Week, as the key summer tech event for UBM Live London.
With Internet World's IT audience now served by Interop London, the marketing community served by TFM&A, and the ecommerce industry served by eCommerce Expo, UBM Live's tech calendar now provides three distinct peaks throughout the year, serving the tech community:
