Internationally-Recognized Advisor Gbenga Oyebode Esq Joins Teach For All Board of Directors
NEW YORK, March 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Investor and philanthropist Gbenga Oyebode Esq. has joined the Teach For All Board of Directors. Oyebode brings a unique skill set to the organization with deep expertise in project finance, corporate and commercial law, energy and natural resources law, aviation law, and telecommunications.

As Chairman of Teach For Nigeria, Oyebode has championed greater access to education through his support of innovative programs to increase enrollment and school completion rates, as well as raise the quality of education overall.

Oyebode has served as the Chairman of Nigeria's foremost commercial law firm, Aluko & Oyebode, since 1993. He is also the most recent former Chairman of Access Bank Nigeria and Okomu Oil Palm Plc. In addition, Oyebode serves on the boards of Nestlé Nigeria, MTN Nigeria, and sits on the board of trustees for Jazz at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. He also consults for multinational and technology corporations on doing business in Africa.
Oyebode holds a Master of Laws from University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ife in Nigeria.
Gbenga Oyebode and his wife Aisha, co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign, are honored to have a garden walkway at the University of Pennsylvania Law School named after them, and were recently featured in Town & Country Magazine as two of the Top 50 Philanthropists to Watch in 2017.
