International Expansion and DTC Eligibility for ISM
CLEARWATER, Fla., Feb. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ISM International, Inc. (OTC Markets ISML.PK, Frankfurt:S5K) announced today that the company has started the process and has filed all the documentation necessary to become DTC eligible. While we're waiting for official publication at OTC Markets, we are posting our updated 2012 Financials at these links on our websites: http://www.isml.us and http://www.isminternational.com.
In other positive news, interest in our products has increased over the last 10 days within countries from all over the world, especially related to our organic nail polish remover.
The main subject of interest is the MyGirl™ Nail Polish Remover which is organic and non-flammable. Its main ingredient, Biosolvant®, has been tested and approved in Europe through their FDA and was tested under their methods for a period of a year prior to being accepted for distribution throughout Europe.
Normal nail polish removers contain flammable ingredients such as Alcohol, Acetone, and Ethyl Acetate and are prohibited in many of these countries, including within the Middle East. MyGirl™ nail polish remover does not contain any of these harsh chemicals and does not release obnoxious odors, making the product very appealing within that region, and in Europe and Asia where there are no other competitive, equivalent products on the market.
ISM completed tests with this product in Europe a few years ago in major retailers such as Boots and Harrods through an international (Barielle®) distributor. Barielle® is a top manufacturer of high quality skin care products. We now have a distributor interested in bringing the MyGirl™ products to the European and the Middle Eastern markets.
Following up on past announcements, ISM is still working to have its products in all major chains in the U.S. too. Additionally, Biosolvant was accepted for distribution in South America.
"It's time to move on," says Mario Quenneville, CEO. "The company expects to close a major distribution deal within days with Europe, at which time we will update shareholders."
