DALLAS, April 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading legal education provider BARBRI today announced it has partnered with world-renowned cyber intelligence and security company Cybint. The new organization, Cybint, BARBRI Cyber Solutions, will offer cyber security and intelligence training systems and solutions for legal and financial firms and professionals. Cybint CEO and well-known Cyber expert Roy Zur will lead the company.
Under Zur's leadership, Cybint has established an excellent reputation around the globe. This partnership with BARBRI allows the company to offer unmatched expertise and a best-in-class suite of cyber education products tailored for the specific needs of students and clients within the financial and legal sectors.
"This is an extremely exciting development for BARBRI. In today's digital landscape, cyber training and know-how is a must-have for professionals across the board, especially in the legal and financial fields we serve," says Stephen Fredette, CEO of The BARBRI Group. "The expertise the Cybint team brings is a natural extension of BARBRI's efforts to serve our clients with timely and relevant solutions that expand their skillsets while helping mitigate risk."
The Cybint solution combines the two critical factors of cyber security, Protection and Discovery, into a single system. The training and tools, accessible in a personalized dashboard, teach financial and legal professionals how to better protect themselves from cyber threats while showing them how to access "deep web" databases to discover information critical to their businesses.
Zur has more than 10 years of experience in cyber and intelligence operations from the Israeli security forces (Retired Major), and has developed cyber training programs and technology for financial institutions, law firms and government agencies around the world. Prior to leading Cybint, he received his LLM and MBA from Tel Aviv University and served as a legal adviser in the Israeli Supreme Court, and as the chairman of the Israeli Legislation Research Center (OMEK Institute), overseeing 150 researchers who work with the Israeli Parliament (the Knesset). He draws on this experience to offer BARBRI clients a solution that addresses one of the most pressing issues in cybersecurity.
"Over 95 percent of cyber intrusions occur because of human error," Zur explains. "Additionally, most users are only accessing five percent of the web when they conduct online research and analytics. Consequently, we've designed a solution that solves for the human factor and aims to improve the areas of cyber intelligence, discovery and protection, with a training system that assesses, trains, certifies, and provides online tools to help professionals and companies improve their cyber performance."
