International Culture Communication Event Held in Beijing Eve of OBOR Forum
BEIJING, May 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On the Eve of "One Belt One Road" ("OBOR") Forum for International Cooperation, the International Culture Communication Event named after OBOR was held in New Opera Art Center in Beijing, with more than 180 participants and representatives from 11 countries, who were to attend the OBOR Forum, foreign diplomats from 22 countries, VIPs from famous enterprises and journalists from China and the world. Mr. Wan Jianzhong, the Deputy Secretary General of Qingdao Municipal Government told the participants that Qingdao's foreign trade with central Asia, west Asia, central and east Europe increased with the annual average 11.8% in the past several years. The investment from Qingdao to the countries and regions along the OBOR increased with annual average 77.7%. "'One Belt One Road' initiative brings opportunities to the development of the city and opens new chapters for the city," Mr. Wan said.
Fujian Renwoxing Technology Co. Ltd is an enterprise with independent intellectual properties and scientific innovative capacity, leading it into the list of Regional Model Enterprises of the State Strategy Made in China 2025. It is based in Quanzhou of Fujian province, which is one of the starting points of the 21st Marine time Silk Road. In the Event, Renwoxing provided several dozens of shoes manufactured under the personalized design techniques as the gifts to the representatives and diplomats. "The souvenir shoes were specifically designed to showcase the civilization elements from different countries and regions. It also includes the contents indicating the spirit of cooperation along OBOR and the long evergreen brilliant civilization of China opening to the World." The Culture Communication Event was held in New Opera Art Center of Beijing. It is an architect with ancient Chinese style. Master Zhou Kesheng, a famous artist from Qingdao presented the skill of folk paper-cut. Other famous opera actors performed the classical Chinese opera episodes, Overturn the Armored Vehicle, the Drunken Beauty, A Walk in the Garden and the Interruption of a Dream from Kunqu Opera the Peony Pavilion. The Chinese elements attracted applauses and arouse strong interests from the audiences.

Aiming to establish closer ties on trades and to bridge different cultures around the world, China's government proposed the "One Belt One Road" Initiatives to the international community. The Belt refers to the Silk Road Economic Belt while the Road referring to the 21th Century Maritime Economic Road. The OBOR Forum is being held in Beijing between May 14-15, with the participation of 29 state leaders from the world and 1500 official representatives from various countries and international organization. The U.S. sends a delegation for the forum.
