Recognition programs will celebrate experienced coach practitioners and emerging leaders in the coaching profession.
LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Coach Federation (ICF) has opened nominations for two new awards programs.
The Circle of Distinction program recognizes experienced coaches who have made significant contributions to ICF and the coaching profession over the course of their careers. Eligible coaches must be ICF Members in good standing and hold a current ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Credential or higher.
Circle of Distinction candidates must be nominated by a peer or colleague. Members of the global coaching community can learn more about the recognition program and nominate a coach for the Circle of Distinction at Coachfederation.org/circle.
The Young Leader Award will celebrate coaches under the age of 40 who are poised to lead ICF and the coaching profession into the future. Eligible coaches must be age 39 or under at the time of nomination, be an ICF Member in good standing, and hold a current ICF Credential.
Coaches can learn more about the program and nominate themselves or a colleague for a Young Leader Award at Coachfederation.org/youngleader.
"These two new awards represent an appreciation for the maturation of the coaching profession and a new approach to recognizing our members," ICF Global CEO/Executive Director Magdalena Mook said. "Over the years, many experienced coaches helped establish a benchmark for distinction in the coaching field and served as role models. More recently, younger individuals have joined the ranks of professional coaches, creating a new culture and a new point of view. We are very excited about these two new awards and look forward to celebrating the first class of winners."
The inaugural classes of Circle of Distinction inductees and Young Leader Award honorees will be announced in June 2018 at the ICF Midwest Region Coaches Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Each award recipient will receive a complimentary conference registration and travel/hotel stipend from ICF Global, along with a trophy and custom lapel pin.
The deadline to submit nominations for both programs is January 8, 2018, at 12 Noon (New York).
