International Coach Federation Launches Tool for Finding Credentialed Coaches
ICF's Credentialed Coach Finder will connect prospective clients and trained, certified business and life coaches.
LEXINGTON, Ky., March 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Coach Federation (ICF) has launched its new Credentialed Coach Finder (CCF) at Coachfederation.org/ccf.
The CCF is a free, searchable database that prospective coaching clients can use to locate ICF-credentialed member coaches. The CCF, which represents a significant upgrade to ICF's previous Coach Referral Service, features a user-friendly, intuitive and easy-to navigate directory; new and revised profile fields not found in the Coach Referral Service; and improved search functionality.
"The Credentialed Coach Finder is a great tool for anybody seeking a coach to make a good choice. This platform allows clients to review prospective coaches' qualifications and experience and look for the right fit. Moreover, because of ICF's high standards for coaches listed in the CCF, users can have confidence that these practitioners represent excellence in professional coaching," said Magdalena Mook, ICF Global CEO/Executive Director.
To be included in the CCF, a coach must be an ICF member in good standing and hold a current ICF Credential. ICF members have completed at least 60 hours of coach-specific training and pledged to uphold the ICF Code of Ethics. ICF Credential-holders have fulfilled additional, rigorous education and experience requirements.
The International Coach Federation (ICF) is dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high ethical standards, providing independent certification and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches across a variety of coaching disciplines. ICF is active in representing all facets of the coaching industry, including Executive, Life, Leadership, Relationship and Career Coaching. Its 25,000-plus members located in more than 135 countries work toward the common goal of enhancing awareness of coaching, upholding the integrity of the profession, and continually educating themselves with the newest research and practices.
