International Coach Federation Launches New Website, Blog
Coachfederation.org offers improved user experience and timely, high-quality content
LEXINGTON, Ky., April 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Coach Federation (ICF) has launched a new and improved website and blog at www.Coachfederation.org.
"In order to enhance our global reach and improve our communication strategy, we needed to upgrade," said Director of Brand Management Lindsay Bodkin. "The website and blog are key elements of ICF's communication strategy. It's essential that these reflect ICF's professional, passionate community while serving the general public, those who are interested in coaching and those seeking coaching services."
The ICF website was redesigned with user experience in mind. "The new website is all about letting users experience the ICF community. We believe the clean design, updated content, and simple navigation make it a more enjoyable experience," Bodkin explained. Website features include:
- A streamlined home page with easy access to the latest ICF news and blog posts
- Up-to-date member alerts and event alerts on member and event landing pages
- Member and client videos and testimonials on the home page and throughout the site
- Enhanced translation capabilities
- Easier navigation
- A more robust search function to help users find what they need
In addition to enhancing ICF's global reach and communication strategy, the website also provides support to those who are seeking a coach and support for ICF coaches. "We recognize that in order to advance the profession, we need to provide the public with information and tools to find a high-quality coach, along with providing our member coaches the tools and support they need to thrive. Coachfederation.org gives coaches access to the latest industry research, informs coaches about how they can get credentialed or find an accredited coach training program, and serves as a gateway to connect with our global community," Bodkin said.
"The Internet expands our reach to advance the art and science of coaching and allows our growing, global community to stay connected, so the ICF team is thrilled to launch the updated website and blog. We hope these new features and offerings will continue to connect and inspire our global community of coaches and clients alike," said Magdalena N. Mook, ICF's Executive Director and CEO.
To celebrate the launch and thank ICF Members for their support, the newly redesigned ICF blog is hosting 25 Days of Giveaways beginning on the day of the launch. ICF Members can enter to win at www.Coachfederation.org/blog by completing a daily activity, such as tagging ICF in a Facebook status, following ICF on Twitter or leaving a comment on the ICF blog. Each day, a winner will be selected at random to receive an ICF "swag bag" that contains items such as coffee mugs, shirts and notebooks.
